Alloy Steel Casting
Alloy Steel Casting By Westom Global
Alloy steel casting is the steel casting process that is alloyed with numerous elements in total amounts between 1.0% and 50% by weight to improve its mechanical properties.
Strictly speaking, every steel is an alloy, but not all steel is called “alloy steel”. The simplest steels are iron (Fe) alloyed with carbon (C) (about 0.1% to 1%, depending on the type). However, the term “alloy steel” is the standard term referring to steel with other alloying elements added deliberately in addition to the carbon. Common alloys include manganese (the most common one), nickel, chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, silicon, and boron. Less common alloys include aluminum, cobalt, copper, cerium, niobium, titanium, tungsten, tin, zinc, lead, and zirconium.
Westom Global is an alloy steel casting foundry in the China market. We can analyze the melt quality to produce a low alloy steel casting that works for different needs, no matter how specific the requirements are. We are also on hand to offer free technical advice and to answer all the low alloy steel casting questions you might have. We give our customers free quotes within two days and once an order has been processed, we are happy to quickly provide a delivery date.
Alloy Steel Casting Parts
Westom Global manufactures kinds of alloy steels for the quarrying, mining, and cement industry. Those alloy steel casting parts include alloy steel hammers, alloy steel mill liners, alloy steel crusher wear parts, alloy steel apron feeder pans, and heat-resistant steel casting parts.
Alloy Steel Hammers
Westom Global manufactures alloy steel hammers for hammer mills and recycling metal shredders. This alloy steel suit cast a big hammer, which weighs more than 50kg, normally the alloy steel hammers weigh around 200-300kg. Compare with normal manganese steel hammers, the alloy steel hammers have higher hardness and longer span life in the same working condition.
Alloy Steel Mill Liners
Westom Global manufactures AS2074 L2B alloy steel mill liners, Ni-hard steel mill liners, AS2074 L2C alloy steel mill liners for the cement industry.
Alloy Steel Crusher Wear Parts
Alloy steel also widely use in casting crusher wear parts. With this material, the crushed material can be dressed by magnetic separation. However, alloy steel crusher wear parts are easily broken, so this material can not use to cast the largest parts, only suited to cast some small parts, weigh less than 500kg.
Alloy Steel Apron Feeder Pans
Westom Global manufactures alloy steel apron feeder pans for customers. This material is capable of work hardening while in service and can provide extended service life, especially over fabricated pans. Compare with normal manganese steel apron feeder pans, the alloy steel apron feeder pans have more wearable in some working conditions.
Heat Resistant Steel Casting Parts
Heat-resistant castings are typically made out of stainless steel that has a high Chromium and Nickel count. Castings made out of heat-resistant alloys are excellent for components exposed to dry gases at high temperatures for long periods of time. Industries that benefit from heat-resistant castings.
Common heat-resistant steels Westom Global pours:
- 00Cr12
- 0Cr13Al
- 1Cr17
- 1Cr12
- 1Cr13
- 0Cr18Ni9, 1Cr18Ni9Ti
- 0Cr18Ni10Ti, 0Cr18Ni11Nb
- 0Cr23Ni13
- 0Cr25Ni20
- 0Cr17Ni12Mo2, 0Cr19Ni13Mo2
- 0Cr17Ni7Al
